In 2021, Diversified announced our expansion into our Central Regional Focus Area, which includes producing areas within Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES This role will report to the Vice President of Finance & Strategic Planning and will work closely with senior leaders across the Executive, Business Development, Treasury and Operations teams. Primary responsibilities for the Strategic Planning Manager role include long-term modeling and forecasting, economic analysis for projects and acquisitions, in addition to providing support for asset-based financings.

This role will be based in our Corporate Office in Birmingham, AL. Special focus will be placed on: Financial modeling and scenario analysis supporting acquisitions & financing activities Assistance in preparing long-range plan Financial diligence of acquisitions Support for ad-hoc projects, reporting, and Board meetings POSITION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field Minimum of 4+ years of finance / accounting experience with advanced financial modeling capabilities Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint Strong work ethic and self-starter with proven ability of identifying, analyzing, and proactively solving problems Effective communicator with the ability to convey complex financial information in a clear and concise manner, in addition to effectively collaborating across the organization Able to efficiently allocate time, work well under pressure, and effectively handle competing demands and priorities PREFERRED: Investment banking or comparable experience of 2+ years Previous experience within the Oil & Gas industry CPA, CFA or Master's degree Familiarity with Hyperion Essbase
