The bartender is responsible for knowing all aspects of working at the bar within Coltivare and knowledgeable of all food and beverage options that are available at Coltivare. The Bartender provides ideal service for our guests including providing excellent service to all guests at the bar and preparing restaurant drink orders in a timely manner.

The Bartender must adhere to all state and Coltivare policies concerning the sale and service of alcohol and assume ownership for responsible beverage service consistent with Coltivare service standards. Acts as an ambassador of Coltivare and TC3 and knowledgeable of the culinary arts and sustainable farming degree programs and continuing education programs; acts proactively to cross-market these programs to all guests. Responsible for upholding all of Coltivare's service standards and assisting the Management Team in meeting the educational mission of the TC3 Culinary Center at Coltivare and the College while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction resulting in overall guest loyalty, student success, staff satisfaction and revenue growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have experience that provides evidence that the candidate has a good understanding of the role of the Bartender in providing outstanding customer service; the ability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing; and the ability to exercise mature judgment. NYS alcohol service certification or serve safe alcohol safety certification.

Position Requirements:

Interested candidates must be willing to work days, nights and weekends and have a flexible schedule to meet the Center needs.

Desired Qualifications:

Two years' experience preferred.

Hiring Salary Range:

$14.70 per hour plus gratuity.
