This position will have broad responsibilities to grow and manage the territory through the acquisition of new customers, as well as the retention and growth of existing business along with our local account manager.

We are seeking an individual with competitive and collaborative sales skills, with a high degree of communication, business acumen, and technical skills who enjoys growing and working independently, as well as working with a seasoned, high performing regional team across high growth segments.
This position will be responsible for effectively communicating and selling the benefits of LabCorp in multiple physician/healthcare specialties including hospitals, specialists, primary care, and other clinical lab users. This is primarily a hunter role, focused on Alaska, with added responsibilities of retention of our existing business and managing both the strategy and execution in the entire territory. The candidate is expected to prospect, develop and close their own sales targets on a monthly basis.
The candidate should reside in territory.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop and execute growth strategy for Alaska market across all segments. Work with segment leaders to regionalize and further enhance our value proposition.
Collaborate with various functional leaders including lab, phlebotomy and logistics to implement overall strategy that are necessary to drive growth and top notch customer experience
Successfully build and execute an annual business plan with quarterly updates to include all of the diagnostics opportunities Labcorp can support in Alaska
Sell laboratory testing services to professionals across all of medical fields
Meet and exceed sales goals and achieve maximum sales growth in Alaska
Develop opportunities and build a sales pipeline that will provide ongoing revenue goal achievement
Accurately forecast and maintain a sales funnel of new opportunities in-line with a 30, 60, 90 and >120 day pipeline in Salesforce
Collaborate with and coach local account manager and other team members to retain and grow our current book of business
Effectively manage travel logistics to maximize sales productivity
Attend local and national professional trade shows and events as requested
Effectively communicate value propositions to all targeted customers and prospects
Perform in-services, training and implementation with pertinent personnel and physician staff
Update all relevant customer account information into Salesforce
Provide ongoing customer support, education on focus products and market updates for current customer base
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree w/a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the life sciences/healthcare industry
Strong degree of technical competency preferred
High level of both verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a matrix environment across therapeutic areas and commercial teams
Requires a Valid Driver's License
