We are working with a major client looking to hire an Administrative Assistant in Birmingham, AL starting in May!
Position: Administrative Assistant
Scheduled Contract Duration: 3 years.
Pay rate: $17.00 - $19.00 p/h.
ON-SITE
Overview
This position provides a full range of administrative and clerical support to the group including but not limited to, processing expense accounts, answering phones, scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, timekeeping, filing, and managing the department manager's calendar.
In addition to general administrative support, this position will also provide support by performing duties, including but not limited to, preparing reports and maintaining department files, assisting with meeting setup and taking notes, preparing presentations, and maintaining internal/external customer contacts, information, and files.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail
