Member Duties : The Data VISTA will strategically increase our capacity to address issues relating to absenteeism, connectivity, and student engagement in hopes of addressing the issue before it becomes a barrier. By continuing to build out a dashboard we will have a deeper understanding of our students' needs at an individual level and understand how that connects to the bigger picture.
The VISTA will begin to establish a baseline of data that will help us understand how the digital divide impacts our students and alumni. We will begin to track Wi-Fi access, access to technology, and general digital literacy. The VISTA will create an assessment report of our organizational digital output and its usefulness to students and alumni. The VISTA will also provide increased data points to include information connected to the digital divide, at-risk warning signs of disconnecting from the program, and sharing historical data trends.
