Youth Sports Coach

At the Regional YMCA, Youth Sports Coaches will work closely with the youth and family director to develop and implement youth sports classes. This person would be passionate about sharing their sports skills/knowledge and coaching children ages 2-6 years old.

• MUST be available Saturdays from 8 AM - 3 PM

All Staff must demonstrate the following...

• An enthusiastic energy level to work with children.

• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills

• Willingness to work outdoor, rain or shine

• Proven ability with work with children

• The ability to work with in a team environment as well as independently

• Must demonstrate the core values of the YMCA which are Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility

• Ability to provide proper supervision for camp group at all times.

• Ability to encourage campers to participate in camp activities.

• To assist with the development of social adjustment of the campers

• Ability to relate to youth and adults in a positive manner

• To guide, direct, supervise, and organize a group in activities.
