These positions perform personal care services by completing patient care assignments, providing an atmosphere conducive to treatment, and supporting patients with mental health and chemical dependency issues in an effort to meet the patients' needs.
The Human Services Center provides a comprehensive employee orientation that runs for one week, Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Following that first week of orientation, this position provides weekend coverage on the Adolescent Treatment Program by working three 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Knowledge of:
mental illness, serious emotional disturbance, and chemical dependency;
patient safety procedures;
patient rights and confidentiality;
CPR and first aid;
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) Techniques.
Ability to:
This position is eligible for Veterans' Preference per ARSD 55:10:02:08.
