Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in education, psychology, or a related field and three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience working with youth in tobacco-use prevention program or related youth development programs. - Valid California driver's license. Comments and Other Information

Under general direction, leads, trains, oversees, and participates in the more complex and difficult work in support of the implementation of tobacco use prevention education (TUPE) youth development activities and the Contra Costa Youth Health Coalition; sets priorities and directs the work of assigned staff on a project or day-to-day basis; fosters collaborative working relationships and acts as a liaison between County Office administrators and staff, school districts, community-based organizations, other local and state agencies, and the public; and performs related duties as assigned. This is a grant funded position and the continuation of the position will be determined based on future grant funding.
