Scheels is currently seeking a Full Time Youth Manager for our Springfield, IL location. While committing to a professional, team environment; this associate will provide superior customer service, along with managing shop needs through display, inventory and sales goals. This individual will provide superior customer service and represent Scheels in a friendly, courteous and knowledgeable manner to our customers and fellow associates.

Be knowledgeable to answer questions concerning location, price and use of merchandise.
Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise on tables to promote sales
Stock shelves, counters and tables with merchandise
With knowledge and sales judgment, develop sales, margin and profit in the Specialty Shop assigned
Attend weekly Tuesday evening training meetings
Execute project work plans to complete tasks on time, and make revisions to meet changing needs and requirements
Contribute to a work environment that fosters pride in being part of a winning team and promotes personal growth
Ideal candidate will have a an interest, passion and knowledge of athletic and fashion clothing including but not limited to fit, trends and sizing for youth clothing.
Minimum of a High School diploma, or General Education Degree (GED), one to three months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Medium work - Involves exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, or an amount greater than negligible and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
