KidzToPros is hiring Chess Instructors for its after school programs in the Concord area. As a KidzToPros Chess Instructor, you will be introducing the basics and concepts of Chess to elementary aged kids; right at their schools. Beginning with familiarizing students with chess pieces by name, as well as basic logic - leading into different movements, values and strategies. You will be providing invaluable enrichment to kids to further their love for the game. The role is ideal for someone who is great with children, is passionate about CHESS, and is ready to play TODAY!

Requirements

Knowledge and passion towards teaching (Coaching/teaching experience encouraged)
Ability to work with elementary aged kids (Grades K-6)
Efficient class management skills
Reliable transportation
Valid drivers license or State ID
You will be required to clear a background check via online/live scan
Undergo training/demonstration
Available for schedules between 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM

VIEW JOBS GENERAL SUMMARY: The Youth Coach is responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience. Youth Coaches are responsible for delivering great member service, Private Training & achieving Supplement revenue. Youth Coaches are responsible for the successful attainment of revenue goals pertaining to Private Training and Supplements. This position requires a minimum of one day on the weekend on either Saturday, Sunday or a combination of both days. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Sales Execution on Key Metrics * Sell and Conduct Private & Small Group Training with Youth Members. * Assist youth members and encourage member involvement in private training. * Ensure accurate administration of client programs, including dotFIT programs, supplement purchases, measurement tracking and workout programs. Arrives on time, prepared and attentive for training appointments. * Assist in all revenue generating activities, including but not limited to: complimentary workouts, supplement booths, body fat tables, seminars, workshops, etc. * Sell training sessions. Execute an effective prospecting strategy, conducting guest tours, and responsible for completing sales of when needed through the Turn-Over process. * Responsible for achieving personal monthly revenue objectives set forth by the Company with regards to Private Coaching and Supplements; Achieve all minimum standards set forth (sessions, PT and supplement sales) * Perform "Starter Sessions" and prospecting activities 2. Member Experience * Focus on changing lives through Service, Science and Sales * Be a brand ambassador of UFC Gym and its "Train Different" philosophy * Bring T.R.A.I.N (Timely, Ready, Aware, Inspiring, Noble) to life * Conduct safe and effective private training sessions * Maintain the organization and neat presentation of the fitness floor and training spaces always 3. Miscellaneous * Adhere to meal and rest break periods and must clock in and out for all shift times * Follow all policies and procedures regarding payment transactions * Follow all guidelines in the UFC Gym Employee Handbook * Document daily workouts for liability (adherence to national certification standards) * Be knowledgeable of club facility and services * Adhere to agree upon schedule set forth by the Fitness Manager * Daily 1-1 Check-in Meeting with Fitness Manager and Bi-Monthly meetings ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS: The Youth Coach will report directly to the Fitness Manager. VIEW JOBS GENERAL SUMMARY: The UFC GYM Group Fitness (Group Fit) Instructor leads a group of participants through a series of movements and exercises using music as the basis of rhythmic exercise. The Group Fit Instructor is responsible for conducting safe, effective exercise classes and assisting participants in achieving exercise goals while creating a fun workout environment for all participants. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Class Instruction * Plan and develop a variety of exercise routines, choose appropriate music and choreograph different movements appropriate for each class. * Lead the class by performing the workout along with the participants who follow your lead. * Incorporate use of cuing, tempo and safe transitional movements from one exercise to another. * Instruct group exercise format according to class schedule and adhering to company standard. * Greet and encourage new participants and orient them to class. * Educate participants on proper form, anatomy, contraindications and modification of moves when needed. * Explain and enforce safety rules and proper usage of exercise equipment used during the class. * Motivate participants and provide instruction in maintaining exertion levels in order to maximize benefits from the exercise routines. * Monitor participation and make necessary adjustments when necessary. Administrative Duties * Arrive on time to prep, set-up and greet participants. Start and end class on time, as scheduled. * Greet members warmly and enthusiastically and build rapport with participants. Answer questions and maintain a positive exercise experience. * Communicate member concerns to the Group Fit Manager when necessary. * Project a professional image through dress, behavior and attitude. * Encourage long-term participation and member retention. * Store all equipment neatly and appropriately. Report any equipment or safety issues to the Group Fit Manager, Operations Manager and/or General Manager. * Accurately and promptly record hours worked on Club Ready and time and attendance system. * Operate the stereo sound system, microphone and room lighting. * Secure substitute instructors for assigned shifts that cannot be worked. * Promote special events and other classes/services offered at the gym. * Suggest special events to the Group Fit Manager to encourage more participation from members. ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS: The Group Fitness Instructor reports to the Area Group Fitness Manager.
