Yoga Instructor, Part-Time, CAC (38305)

Overview

Description: The Centennial Activity Center is looking for a yoga instructor for the active adult fitness area.

Selected individual will work independently and embrace a team atmosphere in a positive, rewarding environment. We are looking for a friendly, attentive, safety-oriented instructor who can communicate effectively to participants and motivate participants while paying particular attention to explaining proper technique and demonstrating exercises. The Fitness Instructor will help our active adult members meet their fitness goal through a variety of different fitness classes.

Qualifications: A minimum of 6 months experience as a fitness instructor or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training; and hold a certification in ACE or AFAA, or equivalent certification in area of yoga instruction preferred. CPR Certified or ability to obtain certification (through the district) within 90 days of hire.

Availability: Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays are preferred. Time of day is to be determined.
