The Analyst's primary role is to provide analytical support for Yield Book users and to assist in their day-to-day portfolio management. This includes price-yield and option-adjusted calculations, duration and convexity analysis, portfolio optimization, risk analysis, return attribution, and comparison of portfolios to a benchmark, as well as assisting with Consulting projects. In addition, analysts are called upon to track markets relating to our Index and ETF products and to assist senior developers in testing new products.

This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain a broad perspective on the various fixed income products including government and agency securities, corporate high grade, high yield and emerging market securities, mortgage- and asset-backed securities, preferred stock, futures, and derivatives products.

Qualifications:

Academic Background:

BA in Economics, Finance, Math, Computer Science or Engineering with high academic standing or equivalent.

Additional Skills:

  • The demands of working closely with industry leaders and the world's largest institutional investors require energy, determination, resourcefulness, keen analytical and quantitative skills and outstanding communication abilities.

  • Knowledge of the fixed income market or Visual Basic is a plus.

Job Overview Financial Resources Management (FRM) provides in-business leadership on capital, liquidity and collateral efficiency across Markets and Securities Services, and the larger Institutional Clients Group franchise (ICG). The FRM team was formed by the Global Head of ICG who created a priority initiative to develop and execute strategies geared toward optimizing capital efficiency across the NAM businesses. This includes driving business strategy for capital management, advising senior management and clients on implications of regulatory change and strategic priorities, coordinating advocacy efforts, and leading and participating in cross-business and cross-functional working groups to deliver improved data, calculation and management processes related to capital, liquidity and collateral. The FRM Analyst will be focused on assisting the team on the delivery of strategic projects related to collateral exposure management, strategic data architecture, and business optimization against firm-level metrics (TCE, LCR, etc.).
