Year-Round Bus Driver - South Meridian

The Treasure Valley Family YMCAs Child Developmentprograms support children in their ongoing growth to ensurethat they are ready for the next educational milestone,whether that be preschool, kindergarten, middle school, orhigh school.
Bus Drivers are responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation to and from school, program sites, and special events while maintaining a supportive and positive atmosphere. This position supports multiple locations.
Starting Wage Range:
$12.10 $14.91
Key Qualifications:
Must have or be able to acquire a Boise City Childcare License, CPR, and First Aid Certification prior to first day of employment. Applicants must have a current Idaho CDL license with a passenger endorsement, a clean driving record, and the ability to quickly assess and respond to emergency situations. Must work well in a team setting and be willing to perform cleaning tasks.
Schedule Requirements:
We will consider both full-time and part-time applicants. Schedule is M-F.
Physical Requirements:
Must have physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must have ability to sit while maintaining alertness for extended periods of time.

The Treasure Valley Family YMCA’s Child Development programs support children in their ongoing growth to ensure that they are ready for the next educational milestone, whether that be preschool, kindergarten, middle school, or high school.<br />  <br /> This Child Development Area Director is responsible for administering the total operation of 4-5 Child Development programs at multiple sites. The Director will oversee the safe management of programs, facilities, volunteer and staff development, financial/budget management, and collaborations with community agencies in meeting the needs of its members and program participants at the assigned sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Early Childhood Education and the ability to build genuine relationships with participants, parents, staff, and community partners.<br /> <br /> <strong>Starting Wage Range:</strong><br /> $41,537 - $51,251<br /> <br /> <strong>Applications Accepted Through:</strong><br /> February 18<sup>th</sup>, 2019<br />  <br /> <strong>Working at the Y:</strong><br /> Treasure Valley Family YMCA provides a progressive work environment with great benefits for qualifying full-time employees. Boise City Childcare Worker’s license required upon hire. Must have firm understanding of budgeting, staffing and scheduling, staff development, and implementing age-appropriate curriculum. Knowledge of developmentally appropriate educational programming for ages 6 weeks– 13years and experience implementing an approved curriculum is required.<br />  <br /> <strong>Physical Requirements: </strong><br /> Must have the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Must have ability to walk, stand, and sit (including on the floor) for extended periods. Position may include kneeling, bending, and crouching. <br />  <br /> <strong>Schedule Requirements:</strong><br /> This is a full-time, exempt position.
