We’re hiring a year-round Production Control & Logistics Intern for our Toledo, OH location!
Our Clean Mobility Division is looking for a Logistics Intern for its manufacturing facility in Toledo, OH to assist the Supply Chain Manager with inventory management, freight control, internal auditing, and cost saving projects.
You’ll work on challenges that matter.
This job will require you to work on a variety of supply chain related projects that include:
Inventory Management
Plant JNI (Just Needed Inventory) analysis to determine if current inventory parameters are correct or can be improved
Packaging Optimization
Pack Density study & right sizing components to tote/containers
Inventory accuracy
SAP master data study
Shopfloor accuracy analysis
Cost savings project(s)
Freight Savings Project
Analyze fill rate of containers and packaging
The ideal candidate:
To succeed in this position, you will ideally have:
Enrolled in a supply chain, logistics, or industrial engineering bachelor’s degree program or equivalent
Junior or Senior status preferred
Flexibility and understanding that process changes may be needed
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills. Ability to work with all levels of the organization
A positive attitude and optimistic mindset
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and SAP
