FORVIA is looking for a Year-Round Human Resources Intern for our Columbus, IN location.

The Human Resources Intern will support the HR Manager and HRBP with administrative tasks and a variety of projects to improve HR processes.

The main missions of the role are:

• Prepare for audits and conduct research as needed

• Maintain training records

• Maintain employee files

• Transfer employee files to a new electronic filing system

• Improve Communication Plans

• Track data

• Assist with hourly recruitment and the salary on-boarding program

• Perform generalist functions as assigned from HR team members

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Minimum education level: Pursuing a degree in Human Resources or related field

Experience:

• 2 years of HR Management courses

• Knowledge of basic Human Resources principles and concepts

Skills and competencies:

• Ability to resolve problems efficiently & effectively

• Interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and strong communication skills

• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint

• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management
