The Yachts division of Travelopia comprises of Sunsail, The Moorings, and Leopard Catamarans, which are 3 incredible brands offering customers unique holiday experiences out on the water as well as Yacht Ownership.

There are two focus points to this position. One focus in this role is to market and sell The Moorings, Sunsail Used yachts, and Brokerage yachts coming out of the Moorings, and Sunsail fleet. The other focus is to obtain listings for Leopard Brokerage, market them, and sell them. This role will require some travel including but not limited to boat shows, open houses, and yacht showings. As a new hire, you can expect to close on your first boat in the first 2-3 months.

What you will be doing

We are seeking a dynamic, articulate, and upbeat individual with proven sales success. This position emphasizes consulting and relationship building and requires a self-assured and energetic telephone presence and the capability to convert leads into sales. You will primarily use your exceptional communication skills to correspond with clients by phone and email and enthusiastically help them navigate all aspects of Yacht Sales. This individual will rapidly gain in-depth knowledge and expertise of The Moorings Yacht Brokerage and Leopard Brokerage products and procedures. Become proficient in the use of the HubSpot Lead Database System. Utilize HubSpot exclusively for communicating with prospects and generating contracts. Prospect Database, following up with and converting leads into sales. Exceed sales and margin objectives and conduct the entire sales process from initial contact to closing. Help assist in the development and execution of the marketing plan in collaboration with the Moorings/Leopard Brokerage Manager. Attend and assist in preparing boat shows, trade shows, and other events as required by THL Marine. Coordinate showing boats and visits of your clients, and sea trials as needed. Travel to bases, other offices, or remote boat locations from time to time will be required. Handle all inquiries in a professional, team-oriented, and detailed manner.

  • A strong sales background with experience and success in a previous sales position is preferred but not necessary.

  • Strong geographical knowledge and a passion for travel

  • Excellent communicator and negotiator

  • Has high standards of customer service and attention to detail

  • Thrives in a sales environment

  • Has a strong positive character and is used to dealing with pressure

  • Ambitious and keen to progress and develop their career

  • Loves to get their sleeves rolled up and be involved

  • Team player who enjoys working as part of a friendly & happy team

  • Able to show imitative and good at problem-solving

  • Boating knowledge and a love for being on the water.

  • Able to work a flexible schedule to include some nights and weekends.

  • PC literate with advanced use of Microsoft Office and knowledge of HubSpot database would be an advantage.

  • Multi-lingual is a bonus
