Position Responsibilities:

  • Use the Challenger based selling approach to manage and successfully close complex sales opportunities.

  • Use insight and consultative selling techniques to provide feedback to clients on industry trends, strategies and challenges.

  • Partner with client stakeholders to build consensus for CA Retail Solutions products within their organization.

  • Independently and collaboratively strategize for solving deal-level challenges.

  • Responsibilities will include managing a significant opportunity pipeline to guarantee success and regional growth.

  • Generate and Qualify Leads

  • Source and Develop Client Referrals

  • Schedule Sales Activities

  • Make Sales Calls (new and existing customers)

  • Negotiate Contracts

  • Utilize Salesforce.com for sales activity records maintenance

  • Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person

  • Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships

  • Follow up on sales activity

  • Perform quality checks on product and service delivery

  • Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management

  • Participate in sales and industry events

  • Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development

  • 50% travel required BS/BA in related discipline (Masters' degree preferred in some area) OR an equivalent combination of education and work related experience

  • 7 years sales or automotive industry experience

  • Ability to tailor communication to the client's needs

  • Effectively delivers presentations and has strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to systematically solves problem and hypothesize possible client pain points, expectations, and needs

  • Proven ability to achieve sales quotas

  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements

  • Willingness to travel

  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills

  • Able to operate independently

  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office Applications

  • Must have a clean driving record with current & valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding and demonstration of Challenger skills preferred

  • Automotive industry experience

  • Experience selling to automotive dealers in a hunting capacity

  • Fixed Operations Management experience in a dealership preferred

Open to other states West of the Mississippi.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Maintain, improve, and manage all aspects of the customer partnership to meet or exceed the revenue, retention and relationship goals required</li> <li>Actively review with Sales EVP and account manager the strategic direction and goals related to each account</li> <li>Establish and maintain sufficient knowledgeable and remain current on the capabilities and functionality of all aspects of the Lenders Protection product</li> <li>Consistently provide high levels of customer service through training, consultation, and the sale/deployment of the Lenders Protection product</li> <li>Facilitate training utilizing a variety of delivery formats, including face-to-face meetings, classroom sessions, conference calls, and one-on-one settings Manage and interact with the Customer's executive team to ensure optimization of product penetration.</li> <li>Meeting and exceeding growth targets for enabling revenue through partner &amp; connector channels, and tight collaboration with vertical and sales leaders to achieve enterprise objectives</li> <li>Identify opportunities to increase productivity, efficiency and enable growth</li> <li>Be an advocate for the partner while maintaining a holistic view of the relationship on a day-to-day operational and strategic level</li> <li>Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Implementation, Operations, Finance and IT to maximize opportunity funnel</li> </ul><p><strong>Skills and Specifications</strong></p><ul> <li>Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills</li> <li>Proficient with Microsoft Office products</li> <li>Travel could be local or national and will be approx. 50%+ of the job</li> <li>Periodically attend tradeshows/conferences, company events and other key events</li> <li>Provide timely and accurate reporting to clients to achieve and grow targets</li> <li>Keep apprised of industry information and competitors Experience managing client relationships and expectations</li> <li>Experience working with support, development and implementation teams in a dynamic technology environment</li> <li>Manage multiple customer relationships at multiple stages simultaneously</li> <li>Strong customer service background</li> <li>Sales experience</li> </ul><p><strong>Education and Qualifications</strong></p><ul> <li>Prefer any combination equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, marketing, communications or business administration or finance with a minimum of 10+ years of related experience.
