RESPONSIBILITIES :

This role will have accountability as the WW Medical Oncology, supporting the Medical Portfolio Strategy & Alignment, reporting to the Head, WW Medical Oncology- Head of Medical Markets & Portfolio Strategy & Alignment . He/she will work in close collaboration with WW Medical Oncology leads and Medical Matrix Teams to map, coordinate and track activities (medical deliverables, workstream, priorities, etc.) within WW Medical Oncology to enable optimal prioritization, timing, resource allocation across the department.

  • Collaborates to develop, align, implement and execute the Medical Portfolio Strategy with all WW Medical Leads and other critical Medical Stakeholders (including Medical Markets, HEOR and Medical Capabilities).

  • Creates instruments to support optimal tracking of WW Medical Portfolio Strategy to continuously monitor and refine the allocation and optimization of resources, strategic priorities, and deliverables across WW Medical Oncology to ensure flawless execution of WW Medical activities.

  • Partner with and facilitate appropriate engagement within the WW Medical Oncology, Medical Markets and cross-functional Matrix to develop, implement and track the Oncology Portfolio Strategy

  • Track and Monitor the execution of global medical plans and provide strategic direction to the stakeholders of the Medical Matrix Teams, including the Medical markets, to ensure global alignment and meet the strategic objectives and implementation milestones for the medical plans

  • Lead the workstream to align across assets (pipeline products and marketed medicines) within tumor and within asset across tumors to track gaps identified across the portfolio (eg communication strategy, data generation, clinical development) to support optimal execution of priority programs and ensure proper understanding and communication of one unified Medical Oncology Portfolio Strategy both internally and externally.

  • Facilitate evolve, develop and implement processes to support successful development and execution of Oncology Portfolio Strategy by using unified approach across WW Medical Oncology to address identified gaps

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

MD, PhD, and PharmD with at least 5 - 7 years' experience required. Prior industry experience in Oncology Medical affairs/Medical Strategy, Clinical Research or related experience is preferred. The successful candidate must be highly professional with excellent relationship-building, and communication skills, including the ability to lead across functions and teams without authority. Ability to work at high strategic level with acute deep understanding of different inner work within medical to effectively bridge across functional teams to align and optimize WW Medical Oncology Portfolio Strategy. He/she must have experience working in multi-functional project team and managing external agencies.

Travel Requirement

The Market Lead, will connect WW Medical and different Markets around tumor strategy (e.g. Thoracic, GI, GU). Part of the WW Medical Oncology team and working alongside the Medical Market Leads, this leadership role links the regions and countries with WW Medical and R&D. RESPONSIBILITIES * Establish role as the primary liaison to ensure bi-direction communication/ alignment around oncology asset strategy between WW Medical Oncology and Oncology Medical leadership in the Markets, including data generation strategy. * Collaborate with Markets Medical, Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR) /Market Access to identify data gaps for regions/markets and mitigation strategies; appropriately inform the strategy and prioritization of global, regional and local studies. * Ensure compliance related to local Medical activities, ensuring compliance with SOPs, GCP and International Conference on Harmonization is appropriately considered and incorporated in WW Medical activities/strategies. Accountable for compliance with legal and ethical standards * Collaborates closely with WW Oncology Commercialization Team to support the Markets and feedback important insights into the WW Tumor Teams * Identify potential, and facilitate the establishment of research collaborations with academic, governmental and research charities in oncology, in line with WW and Markets & Country priorities, including pre-clinical, translational, clinical, RWE and digital health programs * Collaborates closely with CMD, DAH, DAS and BUD to identify and assess lifecycle management opportunities for the Country. * Support optimal engagement and interaction with Country TLs to support development strategies in alignment with Market DAHs REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE * MD, PhD, or PharmD * 10+ years of development/clinical & medical experience with an emphasis on Global or market-based Medical Affairs experience * Clinical and/or industry experience in oncology. * Experience in writing & interpreting scientific publications, & representing companies at international congresses * Expertise in leading through influence & building collaborative networks * Demonstrated success delivering results in a matrix environment and in a variety of business situations * Working knowledge of Research and Drug Development, including RWE, and ability to communicate data in an impactful way * Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset with experience working with and understanding of global environment and key markets * Highly organized and motivated individual possessing excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills * Frequent travel may be required Around the world, we are passionate about making an impact on the lives of patients with serious diseases.
