SAP and AWS have a long-standing relationship and have been supporting customers running their SAP mission critical applications on AWS for years. AWS is seeking for a Worldwide Sales Leader that will work closely with SAP Leadership to drive joint SAP/AWS Sales motions from definition to execution. This individual will lead the sales governance between SAP and AWS; and establish the right mechanisms to drive discipline, pipeline and growth while collaborating with the AWS SAP Team as well as with the AWS Sales Leadership and Field Team.
The ideal candidate will possess both a business background that enables him/her to engage at the CXO level, deep experience with SAP and SAP specific infrastructure solutions that will help drive the SAP on AWS ecosystem, as well as a sales background that enables him/her to easily interact with enterprise customers and sales/field account teams. He/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.
Drive the execution of existing joint SAP/AWS sales motions.
Identify, create the business case and deploy new joint SAP/AWS sales motions.
Manage the GTM relationship with SAP Executives, SAP MDs and SAP Field.
Leverage existing mechanisms and/or create new ones to track key KPIs, including pipeline, joint offering launches and others.
Drive AWS Sales Leadership and Field awareness of joint SAP/AWS motions and create supporting assets.
Establish sales governance and define escalation paths.
