The WRC Tutor is responsible for providing services to the CCCC student body.
Essential job duties include: addressing student writing and reading needs via tutoring, scheduling appointments, and general administrative tasks as assigned. Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions with any member of the CCCC student body to discuss reading and or writing assignments, offer strategies for writing across various disciplines, and provide resources to help improve and enhance writing and reading skills among the student body. Additionally, the WRC Tutor will provide a summary and assessment of each tutoring session per CCCC tracking requirements.
18 or more completed college credit hours in an English, reading, writing, or education related field, or has completed 60 college credits.
BA in English or journalism with 1-3 years writing center experience. Specialized courses in professional writing, aspects of the English language, literature, or journalism.
