We are looking for a college junior or senior, recent graduate, or career changer who desires professional writing & editing experience. You'll work with the digital marketing team to create and edit online content. You'll cover a variety of topics that address a variety of international audiences. The Writing & Editing Intern will jump in right away to contribute real work that impacts the business.

This is a 20-40 hour per week paid internship lasting three months. The hours you work in that range are flexible around your schedule but must take place on site during normal business hours. The day-to-day work will be writing, editing, and promoting various types of digital content including blog articles, website copy, white papers, landing pages, social media posts, and anything else that involves words.

What You'll Do

  • Develop content ideas for websites, blogs, brochures, emails, press releases, social media, and videos.

  • Research, write, edit, and proof content according to content strategy and content calendar.

  • Revise and/or rewrite content on the company website.

  • Create content briefs for freelance writers.

  • Conduct first round of editing for all outsourced content.

  • Ensure consistency and adherence to brand standards.

  • Adhere to copyright and trademark laws.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of SEO by implementing concepts in web content.

Who You Are

  • Junior or Senior in college or a recent graduate in Professional Writing, Creative Writing, Communications, Journalism, English or a related degree. The internship is also open to those looking to change careers.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the drive to meet all deadlines.

  • Ability to write in various styles for diverse audiences.

  • Command of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and excellent grammar.

  • Experience with content management systems helpful but not required (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, etc.).
