Position Summary
Conceptualize, write and edit stories, articles, and other content for the NYU School of Law web site, electronic newsletters and print publications to showcase the Law School's work and community for key audiences-including prospective students and alumni. Write and develop social media content and work with public affairs colleagues to reach desired audiences. Partner with clients as needed to ensure consistency in and adherence to appropriate marketing strategies, goals, concepts, timelines, audiences, design parameters, syntax, and clarity.
Qualifications
Required Education:Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, English, or related field
Required Experience:3+ years of increasingly responsible professional level experience including writing publications or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Excellent organization and verbal and written communication skills. Strong writing and editing skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively multi-task large-scale projects. Strong client consulting skills and attention to detail. Ability to support and represent a diverse group of individuals.
Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications. Able to work in Drupal, knowledge of X, Facebook, and other social media platforms and analysis required.
Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $80,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
