Position Summary Reporting directly to the Director of Ambulatory Clinical Operations, the Clinical Operations Manager will collaborate with appropriate leadership and subject matter experts to assess and implement practice-wide developmental needs and recognize performance improvement opportunities and workforce performance needs. Responsible for assessing systems and practices across WPHPA Practices; analyzes, develops and implements system changes to enhance quality of care and organizational effectiveness and efficiency. This is a highly visible position with multiple areas of responsibility. . Essential Functions and Responsibilities Includes the Following: Understands and adheres to the WPH Performance Standards, Policies and Behaviors. Collaborates with the Director, Clinical Operations to monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory, State and Federal, The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, CMS and OSHA standards as they relate to the Physician Practices. Collaborates with Practice Administrators to manage the Clinical Staff at all WPHPA sites. Responsible for identifying, implementing, monitoring and evaluating clinical quality improvement (QI) activities and providing related consulting and support services. Ensures the regulatory readiness of the outpatient practices. Leads and inspires staff toward changes that contribute to a culture of quality and safety throughout the Physician Practices. Ensures that all staff are trained and evaluated on their knowledge of and adherence to policies and procedures specific to their jobs. Ensures that all staff are working within their scope of practice. Ensures that required competencies are developed, completed and remain current. Participates in the onboarding process of newly acquired Physician Practices. Foster positive relationships with new Physicians and staff. Serves as a resource and role model for all safety related activities related to performance improvement, regulatory compliance and clinical operations. Demonstrates appropriate utilization of resources necessary to ensure clinical quality. Acts as an EPIC Clinical Resource. Collaborates with the Practice Analyst to provide statistical data related to areas of responsibility as needed. Performs all other related duties as assigned. Education Experience Requirements Bachelors degree in nursing required; Masters degree preferred NYS RN License required 5 yearsclinical experience required and experience in Physician Practice Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Knowledge of e-learning, online policy systems and experience with learning management systems Core Competencies Clinical proficiency Ability to multi-task Teamwork Adaptability Communication skills

A copy of the SDS data base can also be found at the hospital switchboard, saved on a disc. Must have a demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to a variety of environments, and take responsibility and accountability for assigned projects is also required. Must be able to may remain stationary for long periods throughout the day.
