Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate effective working relationships with clients daily

  • Conduct business reviews with clients

  • Manage client projects and ensure sales and growth objectives are met

  • Analyze, adjust, and manage daily objective progress

  • Develop plans to achieve company and clients' revenue goals and incentive programs

  • Travel approximately 25% of the time

Qualifications:

  • Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of Foodservice sales/client experience

  • Broker Experience- Preferred

  • Client Management Experience- Preferred

  • Microsoft Office proficiency: Advanced Excel, Working Knowledge SharePoint

Client Manager

The Client Manager is responsible for the overall management of client relationships, projects and internal communication to achieve established revenue goals.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage all daily client communication within organization

  • Conduct business reviews with clients (annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly) to ensure client needs are met

  • Manage client projects to ensure client satisfaction and organization sales and growth objectives are met

  • Cultivate effective working relationships with clients through managing client expectations

  • Analyze, adjust and manage daily objective progress

  • Develop plans to achieve AWP and Client revenue goals as well as incentive programs defined by assigned Client

  • Collaborate with assigned clients, Client Team and Sales Operations personnel to create strategic plans and objectives

  • Other duties, responsibilities and activities as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

Direct Reports- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports

Indirect Reports- This position does not have guidance or mentoring responsibilities for indirect reports

Travel and/or Driving Requirements

  • Travel and Driving are not essential duties or functions of this job

Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job

Education Level:

(Required): Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

(Preferred): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Field of Study/Area of Experience: Business Administration or related field3-5 Years of experience in Sales/Client team experience

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Microsoft Office proficiency; Advanced Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of SharePoint

  • Ability to effectively communicate via phone and email

  • Superior interpersonal communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to build effective working relationships

  • Strong creative problem solving and project management skills

  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical ability

  • Unquestionable work ethics, personal integrity and honesty

  • Travel as appropriate

Environmental & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret written information such as procedure manuals, Company communications or governmental regulations

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from executives, groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form

  • Ability to regularly stand for extended periods of time, talk and hear

  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds

  • Ability to frequently use hands to finger, handle or feel

  • Ability to work in a normal office environment where the noise level is usually light to moderate

Office / Non-Sedentary Requirements

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work may be performed in an office or warehouse environment. Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each work day doing the following activities: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, or climb. May have possible exposure to dust, and may require the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds 33% - 66% of the time.
