The WW Digital Communications Specialist is primarily focused on creating and implementing strategic, digital communications, internally and externally, to promote the Kemin brand and engage audiences. This role requires strong and strategic content creation for various platforms, and the experience of working with multiple teams and corporate functions within Kemin. Successful creation, implementation and engagement based on effective communications is essential in this role.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement internal and external communications to promote the Kemin brand, increase employee engagement/awareness and reach external audiences; including customers, media and industry/community partners.
Serve as lead content curator for the WW Kemin employee intranet.
Manage internal digital communication platforms, including videos, virtual meeting platforms, employee digital content, content calendars and implement messaging strategies.
Create and lead strategic communications plans for corporate initiatives, including writing content, creation and execution of employee communications and corporate website content.
Provide public relations support including proofreading, promotional materials and assisting with outreach activities.
Assist in the creative development of logos, communication assets, marketing collateral and other Kemin branded materials to ensure maintenance and integrity of a consistent corporate brand throughout all promotional materials, communications, and events.
Develop effective and engaging social media content for the Kemin corporate accounts.
Create, script and edit corporate video content for internal and external audiences.
Develop and create presentations using PowerPoint, InDesign, Motion Array, Wistia, etc.
Participate on cross-functional teams within Kemin to create and launch communication plans for campaigns.
Assist with corporate community engagement efforts, sponsorships, employee engagement and communications.
Manage Kemin digital communication/marketing assets for worldwide distribution.
Assist in the management and enforcement of Kemin's corporate branding standards.
Qualifications
Minimum of five years of experience in corporate communications, employee/internal communications, PR and/or agency experience in communications/PR or digital communications.
Must have experience working with various forms of digital and interactive media, including but not limited to, content management platforms, employee intranets, social media and video creation and editing.
Minimum intermediate experience using PowerPoint, InDesign, video editing software, etc. for strategic communications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high attention and accuracy to details in writing, editing and content creation.
The ability to present and communicate professionally and effectively with the Kemin leadership team, Business Units, vendors, team and external audiences.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and handle multiple projects efficiently in order to meet deadlines. A reliable, flexible, self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor while working under pressure.
A high degree of personal motivation, a desire to make an immediate contribution and possession of a distinct sense of urgency.
Ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with key partners including external agencies, freelancers and technology vendors.
Experience in the food, science, manufacturing or agricultural industries is highly desired.
International communications and/or business experience is also desired.
Education
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism (specific background is dependent upon position focus) with 5-8 years of experience.
Minor Degrees and/or supplemental education in science, food or agriculture is desirable.
