Darby School is looking for a highly qualified and energetic person who is committed to educating young people. Our K-12 district is located in the heart of the Bitterroot Valley in Western Montana.

  We are surrounded by year round outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, mountain biking, hiking, backpacking, boating and horseback riding.  Darby has a small town atmosphere and is conveniently located between Yellowtone and Glacier National Parks. 

The teachers in the district benefit from small class sizes, local grants for classroom supplies and activities and a family atmosphere. New teachers are provided with a mentor, support from colleagues and the administration.

Courses taught: High School foriegn language teacher.

The position would also include junior high foreign language and a second credential area to be full time. The Darby School district is flexible about other certifications that the candidate may have, so please indicate them in your application.

There are also extra curricular and coaching opportunities available. Currently we have an opening for a Head Football Coach. As a class C school we participate in eight man football and offer a separate coaching contract.
