Workshop Support Associate, Shipping/Handling (Part-Time)

This role involves supporting/ handling in receiving warranty and automotive shipment parts, and subsidiary in outgoing shipment. Additionally, the specialist will support workshop operations by maintaining a clean and efficient workspace, assisting with projects, and ensuring tools and equipment are organized and in good condition. This position requires a proactive, organized individual who can seamlessly transition between logistics and workshop tasks, optimizing our operations for efficiency and effectiveness.

The specialist will support workshop operations by maintaining a clean and efficient workspace, assisting with projects, and ensuring tools and equipment are organized and in good condition. The role will be specified in packing, and support shipping and receiving packages in a timely and accurate manner.

• Support incoming and outgoing shipments (unloading, loading of product and materials using a forklift or dolly). Load and unload materials and products, verifying and documenting receipts of shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of tolls and shop supplies.
• Assist in workshop tasks, including but not limited to preparing work areas, basic machine operations under supervision, and routine maintenance of basic tools.
• Maintain workshop organization
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment. Help as needed with other work around the work shop(s).
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Handle administrative tasks related to logistics and workshop operations, such as updating logs, inputting data into systems, and managing minimal paperwork

Requirements

• 20+ hours 5 days a week, exclude holidays and weekends
• High school diploma or equivalent; some positions may require additional certification or training.
• Prior experience in a workshop setting is a plus, but not required.
• Work takes place in a warehouse setting, which may involve exposure to dust, noise, and fluctuating temperatures.
