Workplace Solutions Team Lead - Mclean, VA

Basic Job Function This position is located at the customers site in McLean, VA and is responsible for the overall management of conference center operations for assigned major national account. Monitors quality and maintains direct contact with customer from the initiation of service request to its successful completion.

Responsible for assuring customer is highly satisfied with Hilldrup’s service delivery. Supervisor is responsible for communicating tasks to team members, the distribution of work orders as well as reporting and resolving any related discrepancies or issues with work orders. Position Scope Works directly for the Operations Manager and manages team of associates in support of major national account.

Works in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. This position is located on-site at client’s headquarters in Mclean, Virginia and is Monday through Thursday with occasional need for Friday. Typical work includes but is not limited to conference room set up and reconfiguration in public spaces and meeting rooms.

Must be able to read an architectural plan and execute accordingly. The supervisor must have the ability to supervise multiple projects at a time and to lead large projects from start to finish. Job task flexibility and the ability to give and take guidance from other team members are essential.

Minimum Job Qualifications Required Education: Two-year/four-year degree in business preferred or equivalent business experience. Experience: Four years of experience in the moving and storage industry, preferable in a team lead/supervisory role.

Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations: None required. Other Minimum Qualifications:

Excellent oral and written communication skills and keyboard ability. Must be able to receive inquiries from assigned accounts/customers after normal business hours. Must be able to supervise and/or lead other members assigned to team.

Personal computer experience with spreadsheets and e-mail. Significant Responsibilities and Essential Functions Supervises a team of employees to ensure that all daily tasks are being completed and quality standards are being met. Responsible for the overall management of the team with the assistance of the Branch Operations Manager and Senior Director, Workplace Solutions.

Serves as Workplace Team Lead/Supervisor for assigned account, having direct accountability for the overall success of the account business. To include but not limited to reviewing schedule to identify gaps, coordinating event setup per client instructions, managing team workload, using technology and conference booking software to run reports and pull assignments. Prepares account reports and correspondence as required.

Responsible for inquiries after hours for assigned accounts and customers. Responsible for quality focus for the team. This includes reviewing non-conformances, defining areas of needed improvement, and implementing a training strategy.

Responsible for attending the daily operations meetings as dictated by customer. Possesses an understanding of event set-up and architectural drawings.
