Reporting directly to the Head of Planning & Execution in Workplace Solutions, the WPS Strategic Planning Leader will support the long-term growth of the organization by providing input and support to senior business owners in setting priorities, focusing resources, strengthening operations and ensuring that employees and other stakeholders are working toward common goals in the delivery of the Workplace Solutions strategy.
Establish and manage a strategic and annual business planning process for Workplace Solutions.
Help develop the Workplace Solutions one and three year strategic and business plans in collaboration with senior business owners.
Lead planning and coordination of transformation support in conjunction with work stream leads and business leaders.
Own and maintain an end-to-end annual schedule/roadmap of initiatives and activities, inclusive of activities occurring in Workplace Solutions Operations and Product & Marketing to ensure alignment to the business strategy.
Plan, and execute, and actively participate in on Monthly WPS business review meetings including balanced scorecards and performance measures.
Work with senior business owners to determine the sequence of initiatives to best deliver on the desired customer journeys.
Partner with Finance to provide full financial earnings and metrics for WPS along with key leading and lagging indicators
Work closely with the Business PMO, to effectively prioritize project pipeline against the Workplace Solutions strategic objectives/goals.
Identify key strategic metrics in partnership with business leaders, establish and provide ongoing management of a balanced scorecard for the Workplace Solutions organization that align the broader organization around clear strategic objectives and priorities.
Identify ways to improve operational effectiveness, which may be a result of structural issues, functional interdependencies or cross business silo redundancies.
Provide business problem solving capacity and change impact assessment using knowledge of the business and operating model, enterprise capabilities, industry trends and best practices.
Drive and facilitate consistent business reviews to confirm full understanding of all activities and work efforts to ensure Workplace Solutions is meeting their strategic objectives.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred
10+ years of business experience, with at least 5+ years of experience in a business with digital as a major component of its sales and service offering
Relevant experience in the Financial Services or Insurance industries
Demonstrates strong cross functional problem solving skills able to lead, influence, motivate and collaborate cross-discipline
Demonstrated effectiveness developing plans, prioritizing activities and driving execution; well organized with excellent communication style and skills
Experience thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-disciplinary and geographically dispersed environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present complex information clearly and appropriately handle sensitive information
Position requires an extremely organized, detail-oriented individual who is capable of self-managing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
