As an internal Disney service provider DTSS is focused on three key priorities: 1) delivering employee centric business technology tools which empower cast and employee creativity and productivity; 2) delivering services to the TWDC-wide technology community which are market competitive and secure, enabling greater productivity and faster business segment results; and 3) actively collaborating with business leadership in driving technical solutions that help deliver business results.

Within DTSS, Workforce Enablement (WE) provides multiple platforms, products and services that we deliver to empower productivity, collaboration, and mobility.

  • The approximate dates of this internship are August/September 2019 through January 2020.

  • Candidate must be available to work full time hours (approximately 32 hours per week) for the duration of the internship

  • Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program

  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization

  • Housing: Interns must provide their own housing for the duration of their internship program.

  • Transportation: Interns must have reliable transportation to get to and from work for the duration of their internship program.

Responsibilities

A Day In The Life:

  • Support the Program Managers responsible for projects within the Client Services Portfolio

  • Schedule meetings and tasks related to project execution

  • Create and maintain project documentation

  • Participate in project meetings

  • Prepare meeting materials, project plans

  • Liaison with Corporate IT Communications Team

Burbank Television Enterprises LLC seeks an Info and Data Systems Intern- Fall 2019 for the MR Finance, Systems, Projects department. Under supervision, Intern will gain practical work experience and knowledge, while supporting the various teams within Warner Bros. Global Insights & Analytics on daily operations, as well as various info and data systems initiatives that advance our efforts, as well as the efforts of the company globally. * Act as a first-responder to an array of info and data systems issues, evaluate and coordinate an appropriate solution/response, and follow through to resolution as appropriate. (PCs, MACs, software, hardware, printers and peripherals, networking, wireless, audio/visual, etc.). * Support the Consumer Insights/FanLab center, including daily operations, troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance. (PCs, MACs, server, software, hardware, printers and peripherals, networking, wireless, audio/visual, telecom, etc.). * Support various data analytics and reporting initiatives (Tableau, MS Office, SQL, etc.) * Keep abreast of emerging media technologies and trends, and report findings.
