Essential Function

Responsible for implementing workforce management strategies that enable Sally Beauty stores to consistently deliver the Sally Beauty Experience to every customer. Aid in the development and management of store staffing guidelines, staffing and salary forecasting, and salary expense planning and control. Act as system administrator for WFM systems.

Primary Duties

  • 25% Reviews and analyzes relevant data to aid in the development of store staffing guidelines that support the selling model and drive sales and profit in 3000+ Sally Beauty stores. Offers insights to key business partners that is customer focused resulting in optimal staffing. Lead all daily activities related to the creation and approval of workload for the retail stores. Review and approve all requests for work originating from the various corporate departments. Track and monitor available capacity on a store-by-store basis in conjunction with previously published workload to ensure the work can be performed within the available budget and labor capacity.
  • 25% Develops reporting to identify staffing opportunities and aid stores in maximizing labor productivity. Provides staffing recommendations through the use of relevant data and key performance indictor staffing service levels. Drives profitability by ensuring stores are achieving salary plans.
  • 30% Aids in the development of staffing and salary forecasting strategies that will enable stores to manage their salary expense. Responsible for partnering with key field leaders to monitor and manage the salary budget. Analyze routine workload to determine opportunities to improve existing processes and identify opportunities to eliminate duplicate effort or misuse of available capacity. Organize weekly and monthly workload reporting and execution statistics as well as identifying under performers. Manage changes, or updates to existing workload and store technology systems that may have possible impact or effect on other store initiatives and processes.
  • 20% Acts as system administrator for WFM systems including but not limited to time and attendance, scheduling, and employee self-service. Other duties and projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 3 plus year experience in staffing and planning management

  • Configuration, implementation, and ongoing execution of Reflexis WFM Application desired

  • Proficient in excel, word and power point
