Position Description:

CGI Federal has a great opportunity to join our Workforce Management team and be based in our Fairfax, VA headquarters. The Workforce Planning/Mobility Analyst will be expected to use prior experience in resource management, staffing and/or other disciplines related to human resources (HR) or similar fields. This position will support current team efforts related to resource management, workforce planning, strategic mobility, and workforce analytics.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify opportunities to provide predictive talent mobility and resource management support using existing talent data on member utilization and historical trends

  • Provide guidance to members on available learning and growth opportunities across the US business in alignment with career goals and a focus on retention

  • Manage resource requests by validating requirements, searching for internal candidates, and presenting candidates for consideration

  • Develop and leverage tools and technology to identify candidates and develop creative staffing solutions for open resource requests and capture related activities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with business leaders, HR and Recruitment in order to maximize deployment opportunities for the member population

  • Partner with HR and Recruitment to provide support to CGI members on resources that support career development and succession planning

  • Partner with Learning and Development (L&D) and Organizational Development (DO) teams to support, facilitate and promote onboarding and assimilation activities and continuing learning/career development programs

  • Resolve staffing conflicts to the satisfaction of all parties, which may include identifying creative staffing alternatives and negotiating with key business leaders

  • Develop and communicate key resource management metrics and how these metrics impact business financial performance

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • 5+ years of experience in HR/resource management/staffing or similar field

  • Service-minded attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to build and manage client relationships at all levels of the organization

  • Proactive organizational and analytical skills, with demonstrated experience in analyzing workforce/staffing

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource or similar field
