Purpose of JobGuides and facilitates cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of business solutions. Independently performs complex work assignments and problem resolution across systems, processes or channels, to include business-related analyses and research in one or more of the following areas: workforce planning, monthly workforce forecasting, and hiring/separation trends. Utilizes complex statistical techniques to identify trends in data and to uncover causes and consequences of events.

Job Requirements

  • Participates with and coordinates analytical support for key decision makers in setting business goals, objectives, strategies and action plans.

  • Provides insight and guides management on issues.

  • Teams with the business to define data needs and requirements to develop workforce forecast reports that solve business problems and reporting needs.

  • Prepares operational and strategic briefing materials for senior management in support of major programs and functions.

  • Identifies opportunities and potential solutions.

  • Synthesizes analyses, identifies root cause(s) and provides recommendations that influence business solutions.

  • Determines optimum methodology for retrieving and analyzing current and historical data.

  • Responsible for purity and accuracy of the workforce forecast.

  • Acquires and applies advanced knowledge of the business, channels and their applications and processes.

  • Serves as a resource to team members on escalated issues of an unusual nature.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics or related discipline required; 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

  • 6 or more years of experience with data analysis tools and techniques, statistics, and industry data sources required.

  • Advanced knowledge of the function/discipline and demonstrated application of knowledge, skills and abilities towards work products required.

  • Advanced level of business acumen in the areas of the business operations, industry practices and emerging trends required.

  • Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job level*

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced ability to build complex, interdependent forecasts to match resources to business requirements.

  • Intermediate knowledge across multiple human resource data systems.

  • Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to automate repetitive processes/VBA/Macros

  • Understanding of Call Center Metrics

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

  • Ability to present and explain complex information in a simple and user friendly way

The Workforce Management team is responsible for the planning and scheduling of Call Center Specialists supporting the CCB Contact Centers. Duties: * Responsible for project management and may be required to act as a project lead * Responsible for managing a team of workforce management specialists, analysts, and/or people managers * Engage business partner and project managers to drive strategic recommendations and implement changes that improve the business * Engage business partners (Call Routing, eWFM, Dialer, etc.) and when appropriate provide Workforce Management subject matter expertise and leadership within a project team * Provide oversight of one or more Workforce Management functions, ensuring that all changes and activities are coordinated across sites and business functions to support overall business strategy * Determine workforce management strategies that will support operational strategies and then ensure that these workforce strategies are implemented * Drive Process Improvement and Best Practices to ensure optimal service levels and staffing * Responsible for Regulatory Control Reports/Auditing * Responsible for procedure/policy documentation and evergreen processes including oversight for WFM RSCA documentation * Provide subject matter expertise within project teams Skills: * Strong skills in MS Excel, Access, and PowerPoint * Understanding of Analytical/Data Mining Systems (i.e., Tableau, SQL) * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong Experience in business analysis, reporting of business data, problem identification, resolution, and root cause analysis * Ability to partner collaboratively with key stakeholders * Demonstrated ability to work fluidly with people at a variety of levels internally and externally * Strong leadership attributes Qualifications: * 4+ years Financial Services Contact Center experience preferred * Working knowledge of telephony/call routing and workforce platforms * Strong understanding of cross-LOB Workforce Management practices * Proven experience leading project initiatives * Prior management experience required Jpmorgan Chase & Co.
