As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above

  • Train and lead staff

  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients

  • Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen

  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues

  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

Thorough knowledge and understanding of the talent management function including: workforce planning and analytics, organizational design, human resources effectiveness, leadership development, performance management, talent assessment and succession planning. Thorough knowledge designing and delivering consulting solutions in the areas of organizational, HR and learning development, analytics and forecasting/modeling. Comprehensive knowledge of approaches for managing and nurturing client relationships, developing professional network and writing client proposals.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and a track record of success managing small to mid-size project teams in a collaborative and fast-paced environment:

  • Developing work plans for a project component, understanding dependencies, maintaining project economics and keeping leadership informed of progress and issues;

  • Identifying skills and resources needed for timely and quality deliverables while maintaining flexibility for unanticipated issues;

  • Articulating complex issues and structuring clear and concise written documents, adjusting style and level of details depending on audience;

  • Anticipating and addressing client needs while building and expanding relationships with clients.

Proven thorough abilities and track record of success as a team leader with thorough abilities to manage, coach and mentor less experienced team members and promote a collaborative work environment by monitoring the team workload while meeting client expectations and respecting the work-life quality of team members.

The Associate Director will ensure that all the operations and endeavors of KCS run smoothly and efficiently while minimizing inefficiencies in KCS services.  The Associate Director will assist in ensuring full compliance with the rules and regulations of the Workforce program including achieving annual performance measures set forth by the Funders.<br />  </p> <p><strong>SPECIFIC DUTIES: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist  the Workforce Director to manage the KCS Workforce Program including the supervision staff and program participants assigned to the program office. </li> <li>Interview applicants and review participants’ eligibility according to workforce guidelines. </li> <li>Conduct Individual Employment Plan (IEP) and assessment in a timely manner. Assist in monitoring each participant and host agency to ensure that participants’ training assignments are consistent with IEP in accordance with guidelines. </li> <li>Ensure job development services are provided, and develop strategies to enhance participants’ preparedness and abilities to seek out jobs. Coordinate with public and private sectors in planning job fairs, and facilitate job opportunities for participants. </li> <li>Ensure that case management and other supportive services are provided for the purpose of counseling, referral, and follow-up. Coordinate services within KCS or refer them to other organizations as appropriate. </li> <li>Assist in conducting regularly scheduled participant quarterly meetings, agency meetings, and individual/group training. </li> <li>Ensure participant’s data are entered into the Workforce database on a timely basis. </li> <li>Travel to underserved areas and conduct outreach duties at the direction of  Director. </li> <li>Manage quarterly and annual reports to the Funders </li> <li>Support other administrative tasks for the organization, such as grant-writing, fundraising, annual  gala, workshops, community outreach, and advocacy activities.
