The Store Operations Workforce Management Intern is responsible for performing the essential process-oriented functions required to ensure the success of Workforce Management initiatives for US Retail and Outlet Stores.
Manage Day to Day Operations:
Support daily tasks required to ensure labor hours are funded timely and accurately
Review daily flex reporting to identify opportunities and offer suggestions to action
Communicate labor requirements to stores
Support the facilitation of Temporary Sales Leader Assignments
Assist with the management of labor standards including overtime, hiring guidelines and labor matrices
Support reporting requirements needed to analyze labor spend and compliance regulations
Participate in cross functional meetings with key stakeholders to collaborate on evaluating and developing labor standards for new initiatives
Participate in HR compliance meetings to understand and support the implementation of new Labor Law policy and procedures for stores
Help create and maintain manuals related to Standards Operating Procedures and Emergency Procedures Manual with regard to labor practices.
Support the research and development of payroll models and field labor matrices
Gather key hindsight from Stores regarding payroll management
Plan, organize and develop internal SOPs for Workforce Management initiatives
Field Support and Feedback:
Leverage field recommendations to create new processes for stores to increase labor efficiencies and operating procedures.
Support partnerships with Stores to understand potential issues/callouts in the field that Store Operations can work to improve
Test scheduling processes and Kronos releases
Rising Junior or Senior standing
Ability to Intern full time during Summer 2019
Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
Analytical and project planning skills

Excellent customer service, relationship building and team building skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently
Experience in a retail environment
