The Workforce Management Analyst is responsible for providing support to the Workforce Planning Team by leading efforts to develop and analyze labor. Key functional responsibility includes the ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of how planning/forecasting staffing requirements translate to the creation of optimal schedules, data modeling, big data analysis, continuous process improvement, and communicating recommendations to leadership and cross-functional partners
Duties to include:
Workforce Management Analysis and Execution
Influence workforce management and payroll related decisions at all levels of the organization
Creates data models for payroll planning and headcount allocation to provide insight into the best utilization of associates
Identifies and recommends areas of opportunity for expense control and labor optimization to inform workforce management decisions made by business leaders.
Analyze daily store activities to optimize labor
Performs process evaluations and develops recommendations by use of benchmarks, pilots, prototyping and modeling to assess potential use of new methods and workflows within a business process.
Drive end-to-end process redesign and performance improvement through the identification and elimination of waste (non-value-added activities)
Mentors, educates and trains others on the use of process design techniques, methods and tools.
Workforce Management System Configuration and Support
Configures workforce management systems to support business process, seeking ways to improve the end-user experience
Support the development/implementation of WFM Analytics dashboards
Lead testing efforts for all workforce enhancements and processes from design to deployment
Manage the development of tools such as manuals, job aids, reports, eLearning, and organizational tools.
Ability to troubleshoot reporting and technology issues for field users.
Communicate complex policies, technology to field associates

Years of Experience: 1 - 3
Percentage of Travel: 5 - 15%

Preferred Qualifications (skills and abilities)
Ability to balance attention to detail with expeditious execution in a fast-paced environment
Experience communicating business analysis and business insights to senior leadership (e.g. strategies to improve customer experience, improve associate retention or reduce cost strategies)
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
Experience with business intelligence systems
Previous experience with Workforce Management/Payroll/HR systems
Previous food service, hospitality, or retail store experience
