Pennsylvania's Department of Labor and Industry (L&I), Bureau of Workforce Development Administration (BWDA) has an opportunity for you!As a Workforce Development Analyst 1, you will perform entry-level professional work assisting with the planning, analysis, development, implementation, and evaluation of workforce development programs.

This work involves assisting with: preparing and reviewing grant agreements for accuracy and completion, contacting grantees for adjustments and follow up documents, reviewing invoices, and discussing changes to budgets; reviewing changes to scopes of work and budgets for grantees; reporting grantee progress on grants, expenditures, and performance; planning, analyzing, designing, implementing, and evaluating workforce programs in compliance with policies and procedures established by federal and state regulations and legislation and with BWDA policies and procedures; recommending new policies and revisions to existing policies and procedures based on research and changes to federal or state legislation or priorities; developing guidelines for local boards; and performing other duties as required.

Work Hours and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment.

  • Work hours 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday

  • Friday with 30 minute lunch (work hours are negotiable, based on operational need).
  • Multiple positions may be filled from this posting.

  • You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework), part-time up 3 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Experience and Training Requirements
  • One year of experience in performing technical work in a workforce development program, anda bachelor's degree; ORan equivalent combination of experience and training.
