Georgia-Pacific is seeking a qualified professional for the role of Workflow Process SME. This is a remote home-based position in the US with travel to our Corrugated Box Plant facilities. The individual will primarily be responsible for maintaining and improving our Workflow Process within all Corrugated facilities.

The Workflow Process SME will accomplish this through building both plant level and remote capabilities to improve and sustain overall Asset Health and performance. The successful candidate will own our workflow process, our CMMS, and train and track our performance through this process. Come join our team! What You Will Do

  • Through the application of PBM, build capability and sustainability at the plants through increasing site level capability and building robust monitoring and response systems.

  • Must fully understand and own building capability in:

  • Work request process through MOE

  • Planning within MP2

  • Prioritizing work (Gatekeeping)

  • Scheduling within MP2

  • Procurement and critical spares

  • Kitting

  • Job Plans

  • Proper execution of work orders

  • RCA process

  • Must be able to understand and articulate how operations and maintenance work together within the workflow process and how work is identified.

  • Owns Corrugated CMMS (MP2)

  • Develop and improve planning/scheduling processes and utilize metrics to track performance.

  • Owns the training of the operations team to improve overall performance of:

  • RCAs

  • Scheduling

  • Planning

  • Evaluate deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory problems and shortages

  • This role will require up to 75% travel.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Five (5) or more years' of experience in working with or in Manufacturing operations related to corrugated box plants.

  • Five (5) or more years' MP2 experience.

  • Five (5) or more years' of experience with Planning/Scheduling.

  • Five (5) or more years' of experience training employees to increase performance

  • Experience in analyzing process data to optimize equipment performance.

  • Willing and able to travel up to 50-75%.

  • Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

  • MP2 master user

  • Understanding of reliability best practices, process modelling and process controls

  • Fluency in data mining/analysis and Microsoft applications

For this role, we anticipate paying $130k - $150k per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
