Summary:

This position requires strong Workday HCM functional configuration knowledge and must have proven work experience implementing or supporting Workday HCM in large global organizations. Regardless of location or level of experience, members of the Configuration team have the opportunity to create, develop and implement some of the most complex global operations around the world.

The Workday Configuration Team is responsible to configure Workday to meet business requirements while maintaining HR2020 best practices. This position requires strong Workday HCM functional configuration knowledge of Workday Time and Absence functionality and must have proven work experience implementing or supporting Workday HCM in large global organizations.

Successful candidate will require collaboration and partnership cross-functionally across multiple physicallocations globally. As a Workday Time and Absence configurator, you will need to work with cross-functional teams to understand the HR business needs and to assess Workday configuration feasibility and impact to other business processes, integrations, or security. You will serve as the subject matter expert for Workday Time and Absence functional configuration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with functional Time Tracking, Absence and Payroll teams as well as the technical project teams to assess Workday HCM business needs and translate those needs into a globally aligned configuration and business process model that aligns with project initiatives

  • Assess the impact and feasibility of configuration or business process changes and their impact on Workday, security, and/or integrations.

  • Provide Workday expertise and recommendations that meets HR and HR Shared Services business needs and is compliant with Client standards and policies.

  • Author test plans based on functional requirements. Manage and track defects/fixes. Manage issues through resolution.

  • Collaborate with internal project teams and external partner resources.

  • Provide consistent and clear communications between all project stakeholders.

  • Perform analysis on Workday configuration and business process changes resulting from change requests or Workday upgrades.

  • Perform hands-on configuration in Workday HCM for Workday Time and Absence functions.

Experience and Skills

  • Subject matter expertise and prior experience with Workday HCM Time and Absence in a configurator role or capacity.

  • Workday certification is a big plus

  • 2+ years' experience in implementation or production support of Workday HCM with a demonstrated understanding of key HR processes

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related discipline.

  • Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal and influencing skills; Must have the ability to organize and effectively provide responses and prioritize assigned tasks.

  • Ability to work on highly cross-functional, geographically distributed project teams.

  • Ability to work with project team members at all levels.

Offers feedback and coaching. * Greets customers and clinic patients, and offers assistance with products and services. * Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy, etc.) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied, etc.). * Resolves customer complaints and helps respond to customers' special needs.
