Job Title: Workday Solution Architect

Slalom is seeking a Workday Solution Architect to join our newly formed Regional Delivery Team West. This role sits in Seattle, and our team is a growth engine providing local markets with access to cutting-edge capabilities and scarce expertise. You will help incubate and supporting delivery in our local Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, East Bay, Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego. The role will include 30-40% travel throughout the region.

Slalom Workday Consultants work in partnership with our clients to ensure maximum value out of their Workday investment. Workday Consultants serve as subject matter experts in a variety of strategic and high impact projects, guiding clients from strategic planning to implementation and sustainment. You will also support Workday customers at every stage of the lifecycle including early strategy and selection, implementation and ensuring continued success after go-live.

Responsibilities:
Help lead digital workforce transformations.

  • Works with clients to understand strategic objectives related to HR technology including employee experience, business processes, data strategy and service delivery

  • Act as a client advocate and trusted adviser

  • Assist with vendor assessment and selection

  • Lead process re-design efforts by guiding clients to define outcomes and work backwards to define process and user touch points

  • Create strategies to drive adoption of Workday and related technology initiatives

  • Assess readiness for adoption and establish plans for governance during and post launch

  • Collaborate across Slalom practices and offices to deliver a holistic and coordinated solution

  • Help Slalom grow through creation of IP and education of our consultants

  • Mentor our team members to help them achieve maximum potential

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Workday functional implementation experience

  • Experience leading a full Workday implementation from a consulting capacity

  • Strong competency with HCM/Talent Management and/or Finance functions

  • Knowledge of the HR technology competitive landscape, including vendor assessment

  • Strong understanding of cloud concepts and technologies

  • Ability to lead strategic discussions with executive stakeholders

  • Proven ability to multi-task and handle various projects simultaneously to drive timely results

  • Project and/or program management experience

  • Proven ability to influence a wide variety of audiences, including technical and business clients, HR functions, and all levels of employees

  • Ability to see around corners thinking about both the big picture and individual needs

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills

  • Ability to travel up to 30-40%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday Pro or Workday HCM or Financial Implementer certification
