Key Responsibilities

As a Workday Reporting Associate Manager, you should expect to be involved in the following:

  • Conduct sessions with clients to analyze by supporting requirements and provide solutions to complex business problems.

  • Identify strategies, risks, and options for recommending approaches towards meeting requirements for clients.

  • Become a Workday Reporting expert with deep knowledge of current functionality, design concepts, touch points with HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Financials, Talent, Prism, and future product direction.

  • Become a Workday Reporting expert with deep knowledge of BIRT, dashboards, embedded analytics, and future report specific functionality.

  • Lead, mentor, counsel and manage performance of project staff (depending upon project structure).

  • Advise clients on industry standards and leading practices in Workday report design and development.

  • Demonstrate design options using prototyping.

  • Configure and test reports in the Workday system.

  • Understand and apply Workday and Accenture methodologies.

  • Demonstrate strong client and stakeholder collaboration to achieve project objectives.

  • Support innovation through the creation of new industry leading methods and assets.


Here's what you need:

  • Existing and up to date Workday Reporting certification

  • 2+ years of consulting experience, most recently in a Senior Consultant, or similar level role, preferably with a large consulting firm

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience delivering Workday implementations

  • Experience managing teams of 1+ persons

  • Experience gathering requirements, designing, prototyping, testing and deploying reporting solutions to meet customer requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years of work experience) & ability and willingness to travel up to 80%

Bonus points if:

  • 3+ years prior experience implementing Workday with a certified Workday implementer

  • Existing and up to date Workday Advanced Reporting certification

  • Proven ability work within a team-oriented environment

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change

We are backed by some of the premier venture capitalists in the world and enjoy the confidence of customers who are leaders in the healthcare and life sciences industry.</p><p><strong>Financial and Management Reporting Lead</strong><br></p><p>The Financial and Management Reporting Lead will be responsible for leading the global consolidation and financial reporting processes at Biofourmis. He or she will report to the CFO and be a member of a small, high-performing team with regular interactions with the executive leadership team. The Financial and Management Reporting Lead will also help to develop and implement financial processes and procedures enterprise-wide. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years of progressive experience in financial reporting, with multi-national and public company experience a plus.</p><p><strong>Principal responsibilities include:</strong></p><ul> <li>Lead the month-, quarter- and year-end consolidation and financial reporting processes, including pre-close and accounting close meetings;</li> <li>Prepare month-end financial reports and audit committee deliverables;</li> <li>Present financial results to executive leadership with explanations of variances from budget and prior periods;</li> <li>Identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances in accounting and financial records;</li> <li>Review, assess and document accounting and financial reporting implications of complex transactions;</li> <li>Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures;</li> <li>Develop and implement new policies and procedures for new accounting pronouncements;</li> <li>Ensure successful completion of annual financial statement audit by serving as main contact with external auditors;</li> <li>Identify and implement process improvements as part of continuous improvement initiatives including implementation of a new ERP system; and</li> <li>Lead ad hoc accounting and finance projects, as appropriate.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field;</li> <li>CPA or CA designation a plus;</li> <li>Minimum of ten years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting, with multi-national and public company experience a plus;</li> <li>Expert in generally accepted accounting principles and procedures;</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word and accounting and consolidation software packages (e.g., NetSuite, Xero, Hyperion);</li> <li>Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills;</li> <li>Continuous improvement mindset;</li> <li>Resilient team player who can juggle multiple priorities and competing deadlines; and</li> <li>Hard-working, motivated and reliable with a desire to learn and succeed in a demanding role.</li> </ul> Biofourmis Boston MA
