Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above

  • Train and lead staff

  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients

  • Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen

  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues

  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing client needs by:

  • Demonstrating technical specialization in implementing Workday integrations of all all types, with deep experience in Workday Studio Integration Designer Toolset;

  • Demonstrating technical integration experience with external 3rd parties e.g. Payroll and Benefits providers;

  • Being familiar with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) application delivery on a global level;

  • Influencing and managing stakeholder expectations;

  • Working in a global/virtual team environment;

  • Gathering and documenting requirements from users as input into the design of an integration;

  • Demonstrating familiarity with database and application design technologies, i.e., SQL, XML/XLST, Web Services (SOAP, REST), middleware (BizTalk, Fusion, etc.);

  • Demonstrating knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, XP, and Kanban;

  • Demonstrating proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio;

  • Demonstrating communication skills, both written and verbal;

  • Demonstrating competence in the English language as it relates to business;

  • Encouraging continued alignment to PwC IT Integration Standards and the correct selection of technologies, where appropriate acting as a champion for these standards when working with territories in the network;

  • Engaging with 3rd parties as appropriate to build and test integrations to their systems;

  • Working with a testing team to create testing plans and agree testing exit criteria to validate the requirements are met;

  • Establishing that identified defects are resolved in a timely fashion during testing phases;

  • Creating Standard Operating Procedures for Integrations, establishing that failures can be remediated quickly and efficiently;

  • Acting as Level 3 Support where problems with integrations arise that cannot be resolved at level 2;

  • Exhibiting significant Human Capital (HC) reporting/analytics experience in a fast-paced Hi-Tech Environment, preferably in the Workday space; and,

  • Showcasing proven experience of delivering support to a global user population.

The Senior Workday Systems Analyst - Compensation is responsible for the expertise in configuration, testing, documentation, and auditing related to Workday HR modules. With minimal supervision, the Sr. Workday Configuration Analyst will perform detailed, analytical, and technical tasks. This position will focus primarily on Payroll for US, UK, and Canada. Responsibilities: * Lead the exploration, evaluation, recommendation, design, and configuration of new features and functionalities within Workday * Perform fit and gap analysis on Workday processes and new upcoming features / functionalities that impact international Compensation * Be the voice of the application in all things Workday Compensation * Be the key Subject Matter Expert (SME) to determine the right technology solution to meet strategic business initiatives * Define the technology and deliver the feature roadmap adoption to our business partners * Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) during system upgrades and deployments * Provide operational and project support to Lead Analysts * Develop and enhance working knowledge through training, independent research, and experimentation to become a SME * Proactively find inefficiencies in processes, suggest enhancements, and present proposals to leadership * Identify change management issues as they pertain to process improvement, and proactively address them * Lead projects as defined by leadership, which includes leading meetings, providing regular project updates, and adhering to project deadlines * Develop, manage, and maintain positive relationships with vendors and consultants to address support and project activities * Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information Requirements: * 3+ years of Workday Compensation and Advance Compensation configuration experience * 2+ years of experience in project management, project scheduling, quality assurance testing, preparing documentation and specifications, and technical writing * A strong understanding of Compensation, Merit, Incentive Compensation and Stock operations including Compensation process requirements * Experience in Workday report writing and dashboards is highly preferred * Amazing communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams * Experience working in an Agile environment * Excellent problem identification, analysis, and solving skills * High proficiency in making decisions by consistently proposing quality solutions and answers to issues by gathering extensive data, conducting research, and presenting a recommended solution to all parties involved * Ability to quickly react and adapt to changing priorities * Ability to translate the technical requirements to business needs and vice versa * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including how to use Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and other functions necessary to conduct ad-hoc data audits * Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related area is preferred At Whole Foods Market we provide a fair and equal employment opportunity for all team members and candidates regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, or disability.
