Who you are:

You are a driven and solution-focused HR Technology professional, adept at managing and optimizing HR systems, particularly Workday HCM. As part of the HR team, your role will be to support various projects and initiatives, enhancing our operational efficiencies and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

  • A strong project manager who is capable of balancing competing priorities.

  • Proficient leading medium to complex, global, organizational-level implementation projects with a focus on change & communications strategies.

  • Proven ability to complete projects and achieve intended results in an ambiguous work environment.

  • Focused on continuously improving HR's ability to utilize Workday and its reporting and analytic tools effectively.

  • Able to work across functions and at all levels in the organization and manage external providers against established contractual obligations.

  • Very comfortable presenting, merging, and managing competing views to arrive at consensus.

  • Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements governing HR as well as data privacy, including GDPR.

  • Able to maintain confidentiality when exposed to and handling employee data.

  • Able to take technical content and explain the key elements to non-technical professionals.

What you will do:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Information Systems (Workday HCM), ensuring it aligns with organizational objectives, enhances efficiency through data analytics, supports data-driven decision-making, and fosters interdepartmental collaboration.

  • Work closely with our external consulting team as was configure and implement new modules and functions.

  • Work with L&D, OD and PD&C to configure, automate and monitor training and development.

  • Work with Global HR team to set up and maintain performance management, merit and goal setting based on best practices and Spellman's requirements,

  • Participate in the creation of annual budgets for the HRIS department (inclusive of Workday's annual reporting commitment process), ensuring alignment with the broader financial goals of the organization. Forecast future budget needs based on potential upgrades or system enhancements and estimate the associated costs to prepare for financial discussions and approvals.

  • Monitor and manage expenditures related to HRIS, including software licenses, maintenance costs, and any third-party service fees.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR processes, systems, tools, and procedures, and ensure their effective integration into the Workday system.

  • Work with a multi-disciplinary global team in a manner that encourages all regions to bring their voice to the table and merge functional and site-level needs into consistent ways of working.

  • Implement new solutions and oversee ongoing enhancements of systems, focusing on operational efficiency, data privacy, and compliance standards.

  • Proactively manage and support projects, project risks/issues, and implement effective mitigation plans.

  • Cultivate strong relationships and effectively coordinate with a diverse range of stakeholders, from end users to senior management, to ensure smooth operation and administration of HR systems.

  • Communicate regularly with project stakeholders at various organizational levels, ensuring clear, consistent, and effective exchange of information regarding Workday projects.

  • Partner with HR Leadership across all regions and actively engage with stakeholders across all functions and regions to ensure that the voice of the customer is heard, and customer needs are prioritized in the creation of effective solutions.

What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

  • 6+ years of experience in HR systems management, with significant hands-on experience with Workday HCM, including system optimization and project management.

  • Prior success delivering SaaS solutions with a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for improving the employee and manager experience. Prior consulting experience with software design, testing and implementation is a plus.

  • Demonstrated success transforming HR's global processes, systems, tools, and ways of working.

  • Change Management experience with a specific focus on prior experiences in managing the introduction and stabilization processes in a manner that results in the fullest adoption.

Our good faith estimate of the salary range for this role is $91,858 - $125,532. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to base pay, we offer a full benefits package
