We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Workday Systems Administrator to join our Information Technology team. As Workday Systems Administrator, you'll be responsible for managing and improving the security configurations and policies within the Workday platform.

This role requires a deep understanding of Workday's security architecture, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with various partners to ensure the protection of sensitive data and compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, the Administrator will be involved in release management and testing processes to ensure security measures are maintained and enhanced in each update.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Security Configuration and Management:

  • Design, implement, and manage security configurations within the Workday platform.

  • Maintain and update security policies, ensuring they align with standard methodologies and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.

User Access and Permissions:

  • Manage user access, roles, and permissions within Workday, ensuring appropriate access controls are in place.

  • Perform regular reviews and audits of user access to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

  • Assist in the provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts and access rights.

Incident Response and Troubleshooting:

  • Investigate and respond to security incidents related to Workday, including unauthorized access attempts and data breaches.

  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to resolve security issues and implement corrective actions.

  • Provide technical support and solve for security-related issues within the Workday platform.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for identified risks.

  • Assist with internal and external audits related to Workday security.

Release Management and Testing:

  • Participate in the planning and execution of Workday updates and releases, focusing on security aspects.

  • Test new security features and configurations in sandbox environments before deployment.

  • Coordinate with the Workday team to ensure security measures are incorporated into new releases and enhancements.

  • Document and track security issues identified during testing, ensuring they are resolved prior to production deployment.

Training and Documentation:

  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users and administrators on security best practices within Workday.

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of security configurations, policies, and procedures.

  • Stay updated on the latest Workday security features and industry trends to continuously improve the security posture.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 3 or more years demonstrated ability in IT security, with a focus on Workday security administration and configuration.

  • Solid understanding of Workday security architecture, including roles, domains, and business process security policies.

  • Proficiency in configuring and managing security in Workday HCM, Financials, and other modules.

  • Experience in release management and testing processes within Workday or similar platforms.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions.

  • Solid attention to detail and the ability to perform thorough security audits and assessments.

  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to lead multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Workday Pro Certification in Security.

  • Experience with Workday security implementations in a multi-tenant environment.

  • Knowledge of cloud security standard processes and principles.
