Provide administrative support and reception duties for the Workforce Continuing Education Department.
Required Qualifications
Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes
Must meet all Work Student eligibility requirements through the Financial Aid Office
Basic computer skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications Essential Functions
Assist the Director of WFCE and Contract Training Coordinator with office and clerical tasks
Work with Contract Training Coordinator to organize instructional and classroom materials
Ensure classrooms are prepared for upcoming classes
Serves visitors and students by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately
Give tours of the building as requested
Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
The person in this position needs to move to other locations on campus occasionally
Use of manual dexterity
The person in this position frequently communicates with others; must be able to exchange accurate information
Frequently moves equipment or paperwork weighing up to 25 pounds
Duties indoors and some outdoors
