Provide administrative support and reception duties for the Workforce Continuing Education Department.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes

• Must meet all Work Student eligibility requirements through the Financial Aid Office

• Basic computer skills

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task

• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications Essential Functions

• Assist the Director of WFCE and Contract Training Coordinator with office and clerical tasks

• Work with Contract Training Coordinator to organize instructional and classroom materials

• Ensure classrooms are prepared for upcoming classes

• Serves visitors and students by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately

• Give tours of the building as requested

• Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time

• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time

• The person in this position needs to move to other locations on campus occasionally

• Use of manual dexterity

• The person in this position frequently communicates with others; must be able to exchange accurate information

• Frequently moves equipment or paperwork weighing up to 25 pounds

• Duties indoors and some outdoors
