As a key member of our Women's Health Center, you will focus on the clinical development and management of the Women's Center, Bishop McHugh Physician Practice and Weight Management Program including program development, policy/procedure implementation and ongoing direction, assessment and evaluation of all clinical operations.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Assist Administrative Director in determining departmental goals, objectives, organization, function, staffing and budget. Initiates, schedules, supervises and controls daily operations of the Women's Center, Corporate Physicals, Weight Management (WMP) & Bishop McHugh.

  • Coordinates Performance Improvement Program for the Women's Center, WMP & Bishop McHugh. Maintains, monitors, implements and enforces action plans where deficiencies are indicated.

  • Develops and maintains effective communication with all other areas of the Hospital to ensure supportive interdepartmental relationships and to provide for effective problem resolution.

  • Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements of various licensing and regulatory agencies including TJC, NYSDOH.

  • Interviews and selects prospective candidates for employment. Supervises and evaluates the performance of assigned staff; counsels employees when necessary, develops and trains personnel to assure maximum productivity, performance and employee satisfaction.

  • Keeps Administrative Director informed of the progress of the Women's Center, Corporate Physicals, WMP & Bishop McHugh Center timely and effectively.

  • Participates on various interdisciplinary committees as requested. Maintains professional affiliations and enhances professional growth and development to keep abreast of the latest trend in Women Services and Preventive Cardiology.

  • Utilizes standards of nursing practice and nursing process.

Requirements:

  • MPA, MHA or MBA required.

  • Healthcare experience preferred

  • MS Office proficient
