Summary/Function:
In this dynamic and highly visible role, the WM Solutions Sr. Business Analyst reports directly to the e WM Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for addressing emergent and tactical Wealth Management issues, projects and initiatives as assigned. Duties range from solving and remediating day-to-day business matters, drafting presentations and communications, and standing ready to represent the COO in key meetings. Additionally, the WM Solutions Sr. Business Analyst supports important projects by running business analysis meetings with agendas meant to drive decision-making, taking initiative on action items, and when necessary, supporting all members of the Wealth Management leadership team.
The WM Solutions Sr. Business Analyst requires a high level of energy and drive to learn all aspects of the Wealth Management business and excel in all assigned areas. Additionally, the role necessitates the ability to problem solve, manage multiple changing priorities and tasks, and effectively and respectfully navigate obstacles as they arise.
This role requires working from the Seattle office location.
Experience and Skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, economics, business, communication, or a related field
3+ years' experience in securities industry
Series 7/66 licenses preferred
Demonstrated project management experience or training a plus with the ability to drive projects to completion
Strong technology skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work M-F from Seattle office location

Duties:
Provide ad hoc daily support to the COO, to include:
Respond to tactical and urgent Financial Advisor and Associate needs as directed; work with Regional Directors, legal, compliance, operations, supervision, IT, and others in leadership to troubleshoot, identify and implement solutions.
Support timely problem solving and remediation when issues are identified.
Track ongoing issues and feedback from the field and other stakeholders and determine the appropriate project, prioritization and path to resolution.
Participate in various meetings as a delegate of COO; document takeaways and follow-up on assigned action items.
Provide daily status-updates to COO on relevant items.
Provide business analysis and project support, to include:
Address a variety of requests made to Wealth Management leadership, including analysis of project impacts and dependencies, project scoping, project planning, requirement gathering, and implementation of changes based on business priorities and decisions.
Complete other special projects as assigned.
Provide meeting, presentation, and communication support for the COO, to include:
Assist with meeting planning, preparation, and tracking of follow-up items for senior-level recurring meetings, to include Risk Management Committee, Wealth Management Committee, Financial Advisory Council, Branch Manager Advisory Council, and Technology Advisory Council. Planning and preparation to include conducting business analysis and data to drive decisions.
Assist with preparation of presentations for events such as the Branch Manager Meeting, Davidson Institute, Reward Clubs, and Advisory Councils. Planning and preparation to include gathering, understanding and being able to reiterate key business decisions and practices that impact Wealth Management Business.
Draft and edit important internal and client-centric communications.
Provide vendor management & business continuity support, to include:
Handle select vendor relationships for Wealth Management, to include managing invoice payments, facilitating contract reviews, annual vendor assessments, and other general vendor management issues.
Other:
Stay informed about regulatory requirements, best practices, and industry trends, ensuring that they are considered as part of business analysis and decisions, and that Wealth Management adheres to relevant compliance standards.

The potential pay range for this role is $75,000 - $100,000. The compensation offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis considering a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the skills, relevant work experience, and geographic location of each specific candidate.
