Volt is immediately hiring for Wiring Techs for a global manufacturing company on the west side of El Paso, TX.
As a Wiring Tech you will:
Perform electrical wiring assembly on medium to large sized parts or panels
Perform final assembly of wiring and panels to switchboard unit
Read and understand prints, wiring diagrams, bill of materials and schematics
Utilize hand tools, air tools and measuring equipment
Perform the wiring assembly operation from a pre-arranged kit from start to finish
Evaluate and perform troubleshooting with support from supervisor
This is a full time opportunity.
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00PM - 11:30 PM
The ideal candidate will have:
High School Diploma or GED is required
3 - 5 years assembly experience is required
Experience with reading prints and schematics
Expertise in utilizing basic hand tools, air tools, gauges and torque wrenches
Ability to lift up to 26 pounds
Understanding of electrical principles and UL Requirements is highly desired
Good hand eye coordination and have excellent natural or corrected vision
Excellent problem solving skills
Pay Rate: $16.25 per hour
