OSL is growing rapidly, that's why we need a hands-on lead from the front Multi-Unit Wireless Manager to train, mentor and develop.

Here's where you come in

You're a Multi-Unit Wireless Manager who is our go-to point-person at store level. You'll manage 2-3 Walmart Wireless Locations and inspire a team of awesome Mobile Experts. Your mission: surpass sales goals, while creating flawless customer experience.

You'll do this by

  • Building your own sales team

  • Being an operational wizard, running your locations efficiently and maximizing profitability

  • Coaching and creating a great team with a collaborative spirit and passion for sales

  • Rolling up your sleeves and selling side by side with team every day

  • Inspiring the team with your presence and work ethic

  • Keeping up-to-date on product knowledge to help your team deliver the right solutions

Good thing you have what it takes

  • 1-3 years of retail management experience

  • A proven ability to drive sales and service and maintain operational excellence

  • Expertise in recruitment, coaching and local employment standards

  • Killer communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends

  • Your own vehicle and the ability to travel often to check out your stores during operational hours

Offer your time and talent as a tutor and be more for these students. As an Elementary Literacy Tutor, you'll help students in kindergarten through third grade to become better readers. With great training and onsite coaching, we'll prepare you to work one-on-one or in small groups to help kids develop their reading skills and confidence! Students make the most progress when you are there, so our tutors serve during school hours and are needed for the whole school year. We are currently recruiting for the 2019-20 school year. Tutors have the option of beginning in August 2019, September 2019, October 2019 or January 2020. This is an AmeriCorps member position with Minnesota Reading Corps. Although the earnings are modest, the rewards are great! You'll join an amazing group of more than 1,000 Minnesota tutors, determined to help students be more. What to Expect * Be a change maker by providing one-on-one or small group reading help during school hours. •Be the reason struggling students build their confidence and skills. •Be ready to grow by participating in on-site coaching sessions two times per month to review student progress and get feedback. •Be impactful by participating in training and ongoing professional development •Be the motivation and represent Reading Corps at school-sponsored activities (e.g., family night) to help build awareness of Reading Corps and early literacy. •Be an ambassador of the program by sharing your experience with the wider community. Perks as a Tutor Give your time as a tutor and you'll receive a scalable perks package based on your time commitment of 35, 25, or 18 hours per week. Perks at 35 Hours a Week: •Stipend (paid every two weeks) - $650 •Education Award - $4,336* •Federal Student Loan Forbearance & Interest Repayment •Individual Health Insurance (premium 100% paid) •Child Care Assistance (based on family size and income) Perks at 25 Hours a Week: •Stipend (paid every two weeks) - $324 •Education Award - $3,097* •Federal Student Loan Forbearance & Interest Repayment Perks at 18 Hours a Week: •Stipend (paid every two weeks) - $247 •Education Award - $2,360* •Federal Student Loan Forbearance & Interest Repayment *The Segal AmeriCorps Education Award can be used to pay tuition or repay qualified student loans. Individuals 55+ may gift their award to their child, grandchild or foster child. Award amounts listed are for tutors beginning their service in August 2020. View benefits grid for other start dates here. What it Takes Great tutors come from all walks of life. Whether you are 18 or 85, the most important qualification is a desire to help children succeed. That said, you also need to meet the following minimum qualifications by the time you begin your service. •Are dependable and have a history of good attendance •Able to understand and follow instructions •Can set a pace and maintain a schedule with students •Have basic computer skills (like email and navigating online) •Can speak, read, and write English fluently •18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent •A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident alien of the United States* •Have served three or fewer terms with AmeriCorps State or National Program •Agree to and successfully complete a background check *Applicants who have received deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA) through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security are not eligible to serve as AmeriCorps members at this time.
