Robert Half Technology is looking for a Network Engineer with technical expertise in networking hardware and software. Candidates with strong attention to detail and a firm grasp of interfacing, security, Internet protocols and server and network infrastructure will be most successful in this role. Your responsibilities

  • Ensure a secure transfer of data to various locations via internal and external networks

  • Establish and implement network test facilities

  • Contribute top-notch support and technical expertise in networking technology such as hubs, bridges, hardware and routers

  • Use traditional and creative methods to engineer enterprise data, voice and video networks

  • Work collaboratively with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on network implementation, optimization and ongoing management

Job Requirements

  • An understanding of networking such as switching and routing is highly valued

  • 5+ years networking experience

  • WPAN - Wireless Personal Area Networks experience desired

  • Command of Cisco Products

In this role, you will create and productize new technologies for consumer products at Garmin.
